Questions about pricing

Do I need an account to use the free tools?
No. Every tool works with no account and no card — open one and drop a file in. An account is only needed at checkout, because that is what a subscription gets attached to.
Is the 15 minutes shared across all the tools?
No, and this is the part people usually assume is worse than it is. Each tool keeps its own daily allowance, so transcribing 15 minutes does not use up the 15 minutes you have for removing noise, or for stem separation, or for anything else.
What happens when I hit the limit?
That tool stops accepting new files until the allowance resets, 24 hours after you started using it. Nothing you have already produced is affected, and the other tools carry on with their own allowances.
How does the free trial work?
You get 7 days of Pro before anything is charged. A card is required to start it, and if you cancel any time before the 7 days are up you are not charged at all. It is one trial per customer — cancelling and re-subscribing later does not start a second one.
How do I cancel?
From Manage subscription in the app, which opens the Stripe billing portal. Cancelling stops the next payment and leaves Pro working until the period you have already paid for runs out, so you never lose time you bought.
If everything runs on my own device, what am I actually paying for?
A fair question, and the honest answer is: not server time. Because the models run in your browser, processing your audio costs us nothing per minute — which is exactly why the free tier can be as generous as it is, and why there is no per-minute pricing anywhere on this site. The $4.99 pays for building and maintaining the tools, hosting the models for download, and keeping the thing running. The caps exist to make the free tier sustainable to offer at all, not because your usage is expensive.
Will the free tier go away?
No. It is not a trial with a countdown on it — the free tools are the product, and they stay free. Pro exists for people who hit the ceiling often enough to want it gone.
